Our story

Cloud Softlab started in 2015 as a two-person team writing web and mobile apps for local Canberra businesses. Early projects ranged from small e-commerce sites to internal tools — whatever came through the door.

The turning point came when an education client asked us to build a learning management system that could handle thousands of students across multiple schools. That project taught us the value of domain depth over breadth: when you understand the problem space deeply, you build better software, faster.

Since then we have deliberately focused on four verticals — LMS and school management, healthcare, SaaS products, and business digitalisation. We are not the right fit for every project, but for the ones we take on, we go deep.

How we work

  • We build what we know — education, healthcare, and SaaS — not everything for everyone.
  • Every project has a dedicated lead you can call directly. No account managers, no ticket queues.
  • We charge fixed-price for defined scope. If we under-estimated, that is on us, not you.
  • We stay on after launch for support, bug fixes, and iterative improvements.
